Welcome to City Church

We are a city-wide expression of Christ’s Body, uniting people to increase the influence and impact of God’s love for the welfare of our city.​

          Hours before sacrificing His life for the redemption of humanity, Jesus offered this prayer for those who would believe in Him:
          ​"I pray that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me, and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent Me."  John 17:21 We exist to walk in that legacy.

Unity

Impact

Our aim is to live in the benefit and blessing of Jesus' petition to the Father in John 17. Unity is purposeful, One, "so that the world may believe." We believe by walking in this witness of oneness, there are some things we can do more effectively together than apart. 

With this in mind, we endeavor to build a sustainable culture of honor, through humility of heart and radical demonstration of unity.

Influence

We desire to be involved in our city in ways that demonstrate the transformational love of Jesus. We want to be involved in serving our city for its good and for God's glory in every way we can.

When God's people were in a land that did not accept their way of life and belief He told them to "seek the peace and prosperity" of that city, and in that prosperity, they would prosper. We desire to prosper our city!

Our contemporary, contextual application: a united, praying Body of Christ is to be a conduit of God's favor and blessing in our city. Further, we desire to be involved in the pain and felt needs of our city in ways that demonstrate the transformational love of Jesus.

Welfare of our City

We believe the love and wisdom of God will bring measurable transformation to individuals, families, even societal institutions.
